PRODUCT QUALITY SPECIALIST
Key responsibilities include:§ Ownership of the NCR , MRB and Cost of Quality matrix .Owner ship of Customer complaints and Field quality issue related to Manufacturing .§ Lead analysis of defect data and CAPA creation / resolution and maintain records as specified by the Quality System§ Interface with Supplier Quality on supplier related defects.§ Conduct root cause analysis on product quality issues, identify trends and communicate with Supplier Quality Engineers, Engineering , Production Engineers and feeder plants for resolution.§ Reduction of MRB and non-conforming material inventory.§ Ensure compliance through validation and verification (V&V)Lead Line efficiencies improvement projects ( Yield ) .Support Lean and Kaizen activities .Quality Specific Goals:1. Aware of and comply with the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position2. Certified internal Auditor and lead Quality / Regulatory audits and Inspections .3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required4. Knowledge and understanding of production process work instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications5. Ensures thecreation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs6. Knowledge of Good Documentation Practice ( GDP ) and Good Manufacturing Practices ( GMP ).Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 4-6 years of total industry experience and min 3 yrs of Product Quality experience .2. Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes3. Strong communication skills, verbal and written4. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, Minitab, etcPreferred Qualifications:1. Green Belt Certified2. Lean manufacturing experience3. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams4. Demonstrated analytical, process management skills
